Colour Basis Facelift/E-lift

It was time for a change… I am so proud to announce the unveiling of the new Colour Basis web site with 3 separate interior sites. Same www.colourbasis.com address with an all new look. One site for the Men, one for the Women and one for our Consulting. Also you will notice many new features as we have been listening to your suggestions and thank you for helping us better serve YOU. Check out our new digs at CB!

I personally want to thank you for your continued business and friendship and will hopefully see you soon. We are also going to be at NAB/RTNDA in Las Vegas, if you are there come by for a special gift.

Get that mono brow groomed and HD ready.

All those pesky stray brows…

Most things are better in pairs and that includes eyebrows! Your flower bed isn�t the only thing that needs cleaning up this season. Get that mono brow groomed and HD ready. You can do that several different ways:

Have them waxed, ask the stylist who cuts your hair about it.
Tweeze your stray or unruly brows with our J aponesque Tweezers.
Razor around them with our J aponesque Razor designed with shaping brows in mind

The important thing to remember in grooming your brows is not to over do it. An �over done� brow on a man looks feminine and is distracting. The idea is not to have a perfectly clean brow, just take out the main strays around and in between your eyes. Check out the brows of our Colour Basis Man, Paul as an example of a properly shaped man brow.

Ladies don�t curl up your nose, curl up your eyelashes instead!

Ladies, Don�t curl up your nose…

Curl up your eyelashes instead! Open up your beautiful eyes with our J aponesque Eyelash Curler. It makes a HUGE difference on camera in drawing attention to your eyes. Use these steps to ensure a perfectly curled brow safely:

Always curl lashes BEFORE you apply mascara
After applying your eye makeup, take your lash curler and hold the hinge side toward your face opening curler all the way.
Move in toward your face until your upper lashes are fully inserted into curler getting as close to your lash line as possible without pinching your skin
Slowly close down curler making sure that all of your upper lashes are in the curler and that you don�t have any skin in curler.
Once lashes are in curler and no skin, firmly squeeze curler until your lashes go straight up and touch the metal band on the lash curler.
Hold for 17 seconds, open and see how beautiful your lashes can be
Immediately apply 2 coats of Curling Black Mascara to top lashes only

Viola! Lovely lashes in seconds. Feel free to bat them as needed…
